Most of our days are spent up in the trees. But the reason behind the work — and the joy you’ll notice in our crew — is Jesus. This page isn’t a sales pitch. It’s the one thing we’d hate for a neighbor to leave our website without hearing.
If you died tonight, would you be in Heaven or Hell?
“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:”
What does God’s Word teach about this all-important subject? First of all, we are all sinners. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;” (Romans 3:23) Because of our sin we are under sin’s penalty, which is death. “For the wages of sin is death…” (Romans 6:23) This penalty means eternal separation from God in hell.
God does not want anyone to go to hell, so He sent His only begotten Son to die and pay the penalty for our sins. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
God’s love for us is so great that He made a way for our sins to be forgiven. He offers His forgiveness and salvation freely. “…but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23) Please note that eternal life is offered to you as a gift. But like all gifts, it is not yours until you receive it. To receive Christ is to receive life — eternal life, a home in Heaven.
Here is how you may receive Christ: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9) You must believe with all your heart, and call on the Lord to save you. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13)
So you may know for sure that you are going to Heaven, be truthful and make this prayer your prayer to God:
“Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. Please forgive me of all my sins. I believe You died on the cross for me, and I believe that it’s your blood that washes my sins away. I believe You were buried and that God raised You on the third day and that only through what you have done for me will get me to heaven. Will you please come in my heart and save my soul? Thank You for saving me Jesus. Amen”
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
